Itinerary
We depart at 8am at your hotel to visit China town, one of the largest Chinese community in the world. An interesting walk through the biggest wholesale market in Saigon to see nearly anything here. Then we will spend our time at the Thien Hau Temple. It is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Lady of the Sea who is a deity of traditional of Chinese religion. She helps Chinese people immigrated to Vietnam by Sea. The last stop before lunch at the local restaurant is a Fito Museum. This is a Vietnamese traditional medicine Museum where you can learn more about our culture how we feel better with medicinal herbs.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Reunification Palace – a blend of traditional ritual and modern architecture – used to be the Palace for President and his family live and work until reunification in 1975. The building is now functioned as a museum where the tourist can see all of the original rooms, facilities and devices. Then, the War Remnant museum will show you more about Viet Nam war. You will find a collection of weapons, machinery, aircraft, tanks and so many horrific photographs illustrate the devastating effect of napalm bomb, Agent Orange and other weapons of mass destruction.
After the museum, you will spend your time at the Cathedral Notre Dame and the Saigon Central Post Office. Both was built by French at the late 18th Century with all the materials were imported direct from France.
Also from here the tour guide will point you the CIA office in the famous picture of Vietnam war.
Last but not least, our guide will take you to a local coffee shop where you can enjoy a Vietnamese coffee and have a talk to get more information about the culture, people, food and language.
Trip ends at your hotel around 5pm.
